It's AWESOME! Love it and have told my colleagues in law about it and just needed it mostly for one big project but maybe more (we personal injury lawyers have to redact medical records often and it "stored" the redactions so that when a judge tells us what is "allowed to be redacted" and what is not allowed, I simply went back in and unredacted in minutes). This program probably saved me about 30+ hours on a project with about 1,000 pages of medical records vs. doing it "by hand" and then saved me hours when it saved the redactions and allowed me to "unredact" per a Judge's order. Redactable automatically recognizes typical personally identifiable information including social security numbers and credit cards. It has easy redaction features that I can bend to blackout bars, watermarks among others and the interface is easy to work with. I have been able to use Redactable to ease my process of redacting documents. It does away with the time-consuming and painstaking exercises of redaction which if done manually poses the risk of exposing certain important information.

Redactable is solving the problem of document redacting for publishing. When editing document for publishing it takes enormous efforts to find and update documents. Especially when it's in PDF format. With Redactable editing PDF document becomes easy and fast. Search, Auto Detect credentials like functionality helps speed up the data editing process.

So what redaction challenges were we facing before using redactable? It was a manual process, where it was a expensive process, either way, it was also a time consuming process. What redaction software do we use prior we didn't use software. We used lawyer. And a lawyer is much, much, much more expensive than using a software like redactable. Specific redactable features the ability to quickly scan for PII in enormous documents. That was kind of mind blowing. The first time that I used it. And would I recommend it to colleagues? Yeah, absolutely. I specifically used it in the edu space for a education client for Freedom of Information Act type requests. It did a great job for that. It took what would have been, I don't even know, you know we're talking, you know, 80,000 pages, or something like that, or emails to go through, separated by pages, to take hours and hours and hours of work, probably two weeks of work, and reduce it into what I think took me a little over an hour.

I use redactable for sharing PDF documents, masking all the confidential information, including invoices, when I'm dealing with some of my transactions. I found it really useful, and it's very easy to use. I think one of the aspects I would really appreciate about adaptable is the fact that you can actually very easily mask out all of the sensitive data that you don't want the document to contain when you're sharing it further, because the document can land in any hands, and you don't want any compromises on the way the data, your specific data, your confidential data, is being handled. The user interface is top notch. I think they're putting the best of the UX CX minds in building the product. And when you actually see the redactable file the output after you redact some of the components of the document, you would actually see that the document still looks really classy in terms of the output.

So prior to using redactable, we didn't really have an equivalent tool for securing the confidentiality of important documents, and so having relaxable in our in our arsenal has made a big difference to our ability to inspire trust in our clients, to ensure the confidentiality and security of the documents that we use and submit and exchange with our clients on a you know, daily basis, and I don't know, an equivalent tool that delivers that same level of security and that same peace of mind that we get from using redactable across all of our most confidential and important documents.

We were looking for software that was not too expensive, because we don't have to redact a lot of contracts, but it does come up from time to time, usually financial information on in our case, right agreements to be sent into a society. And obviously, we don't want sensitive financial information to be viewable, so we use redactable to mark that, block it out and mark it as confidential. Prior to using redactable. We had tried using two varying degrees of success. Adobe, it worked to a degree, but it wasn't as easy to use as redactable, and it didn't really fulfill all our needs specifically as well. I think one of the main reasons we like redactable is because of the feature that allows us just to mark it confidential or or just just redacted. But we can mark the reason for doing so. And I also like the block functionality, so we have to do it line by line.

I work in a hybrid paralegal position for a family law firm located in Savannah, Georgia. I was first introduced to redactable by the attorney that I work for. He had seen an advertisement for it online and wanted me to explore the services that I offered, we were both really curious about the benefits and how redactable could help us, specifically with redacting documents for court, as the only time that I really need to go into the office is to help prepare exhibits for hearings.
